Sometimes, the best way to continue a legacy is with a true new beginning. That’s exactly what Sigrid and Maximilian Blumschein did when they took over the traditional inn in the heart of St. Johann – not to keep everything as it was, but to explore new paths without forgetting the old.
With a keen sense for architecture, art and atmosphere, the building was carefully modernised – with an intentional play on contrasts between old and new. Rather than following well-worn paths, the decision was made to think differently: the Post was to remain a house with history – but become a place with purpose, with character, with a future.
