Whether you’re coming by car, train, or strolling in from the town center – the journey to the Post is just as relaxed as the stay itself. Here you’ll find all the information you need to make your arrival – and the start of your time out – especially smooth and stress-free.
St. Johann is centrally located in the Tyrolean lowlands and easily accessible from all directions:

Important GPS Tip: Please DO NOT enter "Speckbacherstraße 1" into your GPS – this address is in the pedestrian zone and may mislead some navigation systems. Instead, enter “Bahnhofweg 3” – this will take you directly to the entrance of the underground parking garage (Post / Kaisersaal / Hospital). Drive straight into the garage and ring the bell at the “Rezeption” button at the barrier. The parking fee is EUR 18.00 per day and not included in the room rate.
Our underground garage is just steps from the hotel entrance – central, convenient, and protected from the elements.
Directions to the underground parking:
• Take the “Zentrum” exit from the B178
• In the roundabout: second exit toward Train Station/Hospital
• Pass the train station, continue straight at the next roundabout
• Turn right at the first street (Bahnhofweg)
• Garage entrance is on the right – shared with Kaisersaal/Hospital
• At the barrier, press “Rezeption” – we’ll open for you
Parking Fee:
EUR 18,00 per day (Parking is not included in the room rate.)
Note for vehicles over 2.10 m in height:
Tall vehicles (e.g., vans, delivery trucks, cars with roof boxes) do not fit in the underground garage. We offer 4 outdoor parking spots for arrival & departure - also EUR 18.00 per day (subject to availability).
EV Charging Stations:
Driving an electric car? Great! Our garage features 5 charging stations:
• 1x Type 1 cable (3.7 kW) and 1x Type 2 cable (11 kW)
• Hotel guests pay EUR 18.00 per night incl. parking – charging billed separately
• Restaurant guests may charge & park using their own RFID card (subject to availability)
Additional Parking in St. Johann:
There are no free parking options in the town center.

By Train:
St. Johann in Tirol train station is just a 5-minute walk from the Hotel & Wirtshaus Post – perfect for a relaxed and sustainable arrival.

By Coach (ALPLINER):
A comfortable long-distance coach powered by HVO fuel brings you directly from Frankfurt, Mannheim or Stuttgart to the Kitzbühel Alps – no transfers needed.
